DRY LOOSE LICK
BEEF STARTER 5
Beef Starter 5 Lick
Woods Beef Starter 5 Lick is a dry loose lick supplement suitable for cattle grazing standing mature pasture or crop stubble of at least 1000kg DM/Ha. It has a low level of urea that allows all classes of cattle to start on prior to moving onto the desired loose lick.
Woods Beef Starter 5 Lick is composed of rumen degradable protein meals, non-protein nitrogen (NPN) sources, salt, limestone, mono-dicalcium phosphate (MCP) or mono-dicalcium phosphate (MDCP), Magnesium and sulphur sources, and other trace minerals and vitamins. Additives such as rumen modifiers or probiotics may be included at the request of the customer.
Salt levels may vary depending on stock water or soil salt content.
Feeding Guidelines
Recommended feeding rate is 250 to 300 grams per head per day.
Supply in well drained open-ended troughs or covered feeders. Once consumption rates are settled, don't let troughs become empty as cattle may over consume upon reintroduction of dry loose lick.
