Beef Hi Phos Lick

Woods Beef Hi Phos Lick is a dry loose lick supplement suitable for cattle grazing standing mature pasture or crop stubble of at least 1000kg DM/Ha. It is formulated with a higher level of Phosphorous (P) for growing and breeder cattle in P deficient country. 


Woods Beef Hi Phos Lick is composed of rumen degradable protein meals, limestone, mono-dicalcium phosphate (MCP) or mono-dicalcium phosphate (MDCP), Magnesium and sulphur sources, and other trace minerals and vitamins.

Feeding Guidelines

Recommended feeding rate is 100 to 250 grams per head per day for Growing Stock and 150 to 250 grams per head per day for Adult Stock

Supply in well drained open-ended troughs or covered feeders. Once consumption rates are settled, don't let troughs become empty as cattle may over consume upon reintroduction of dry loose lick.

WARNINGS:

  • This product contains Urea which may be poisonous to stock 
  • Do not feed to starving stocks as they may overconsume the lick 
  • Do not feed if forage available is less than 1000kg DM/Ha 
  • Do not allow the product to become wet and accessible to stock 
  • Feed away from animals’ water supply 
  • Do not feed to dogs, horses or other equines as may prove fatal 
  • Ensure animals are not excessively craving salt before supply
  • Do not feed loose licks in conjunction with other supplements that contain urea as this may cause urea toxicity 
  • Always monitor consumption of dry loose licks
  • Woods Stockfeeds has no control over the feeding of this product and accepts no responsibility for any stock losses that may occur
