Woods PastureFed 16 Supplement Pellet is a stockfeed supplement suitable to be fed to recently weaned cattle over 200 kg liveweight and up to 600 kg liveweight as a supplement in conjunction with pasture, or non-cereal grain silage and hay. Woods PastureFed 16 Supplement Pellet is a PCAS approved supplement
This pellet is composed of pulse seeds (such as faba beans, chickpeas, mung beans, lupins, peas, etc) protein meals (such as canola meal, soybean meal, cottonseed meal, etc), fibre sources (such as soy hulls, pulse hulls, peanut shell, etc.), molasses, vegetable oil, macro minerals, trace minerals and vitamins.
It does not contain cereal grains, cereal grain by-products or any rumen modifier. It may or may not contain urea.
Feeding Guidelines
Cattle should be introduced gradually to any change in their diet to allow the rumen microflora to adapt. Cattle should have access to adequate pasture or hay in this introduction phase of 7 to 10 days. The level of feeding after this period can be determined by the amount of available pasture and/or hay on offer.
PastureFed Cattle Assurance System
The PastureFed Cattle Assurance System (PCAS ) is an assurance program that enables the industry to prove claims relating to pasturefed or grassfed production methods.
Under the PCAS standards, feed given during supplementary feeding must be consistent with the eligible diet or items listed on the PCAS Approved Supplements List
The Woods PastureFed 16 Supplement Pellet is such an approved PCAS product.
